Feature
Booking & scheduling
The core of StormGecko: a public booking page backed by a real availability engine — not a static calendar you keep by hand.
The booking journey
Here’s exactly what a customer goes through, from link to confirmation:
Customer opens the booking page
They arrive via the business’s branded link, a per-service link, or a widget embedded on the business’s own website.
Chooses a service
Each service shows its duration and price. Picking one moves them straight to the calendar.
Sees live availability
Open times are computed in real time from the rules below — never a static, hand-kept list.
Picks a date & time
Slots are shown in the customer’s own timezone alongside the business’s, so nothing is ever booked at the wrong hour.
Pays a deposit (if priced)
Priced services collect a deposit or the full amount through Stripe before the slot is held — which cuts no-shows.
Booked & confirmed
They get an instant confirmation screen and a branded email — plus a Zoom link if it’s an online service.
How availability is calculated
Every open time a customer sees is worked out live. StormGecko starts from the business’s hours and subtracts everything that’s already taken, then filters what’s left by each service’s rules:

What you configure per service
Hours & slot interval
Set the open days and hours, and how far apart bookable slots sit (e.g. every 30 minutes).
Capacity per slot
Allow one booking per slot, or many at once — perfect for classes and group sessions.
Buffer time
Automatically block the minutes right after a booking so there’s time to reset between customers.
Notice & advance window
Require a minimum lead time before a slot, and cap how far into the future people can book.
Client timezones
Every visitor sees slots in their own timezone — no cross-timezone mix-ups.
Location type
Each service is in-person (address), an external link, or Zoom with auto-generated meeting links.
